Biopsy
Needles
Pro-Cut
Needle
Pro-Cut Biopsy Needles are used to
obtain a soft tissue sample for Histology. They are designed for the handle
operating biopsy procedure. Available in 14, 16 and 18Ga and 10 or 16cm.
|

|
BIOCUT -
Semi-Automatic Biopsy Device
A disposable, spring-loaded biopsy
needle is a lightweight device that is suitable for a wide range of
applications: CT, ultrasound, surgery, urology, nephrology and more. After
charging the needle, the user can operate the device with one hand, keeping
the other free to manipulate other instruments such as an ultrasound
transducer or laparoscope. The stylet point provides easy and quick
penetration while the sharp cutting edge of the cannula helps to obtain an
intact core sample.
Available in 14, 16, 18 and 20Ga
length - 6, 9, 15 or 20cm.
|

|
Tru-Cut Needle
Tru-Cut Biopsy Needles are used to
obtain a soft tissue sample for Histology. They are to be used with an
automatic reusable spring-loaded Biopsy Gun, and are compatible with many
types of popular guns.

Franseen
Style Needle
Designed for the percutaneous
biopsy of lung tissue, the two-piece Franseen biopsy needle has a trocar
pointed stylet to introduce the needle and help ensure proper placement. The
needle also has a serrated edged cannula for cutting and securing tissue
specimens. Available in 18,20 and 22 gauge sizes, in 152 and 203mm length.
|

|
Chiba Style Needle
Du-Kedem's Chiba style needle features a 250 bevel,
designed to provide an improved cutting capability. This general-purpose
needle is recommended for percutaneous fine needle aspiration biopsy
procedures. Available in 22 gauge, with a choice of 89, 152, and 203mm
lengths, and in 23 gauge with 152 and 203mm lengths.
|

|
Westcott
Style Needle
Designed for percutaneous fine
needle aspiration biopsy, the Westcott type biopsy needle is a thin-walled,
two-piece needle with a slotted opening located approximately 3mm from the
needle point. The slot provides a second cutting edge, effectively allowing
the removal of large amounts of sample. The Du-Kedem Westcott style needle
has proven effective for many biopsy applications, including pulmonary, hilar,
and mediastinal masses, as well as lesions in the liver, pancreas and other
areas. Our choice of needle lengths offers maximum versatility for both deep
and superficial masses. Available in 20 and 22 gauge sizes, in a choice of
88, 140 and 178mm lengths.
|

|
Turner
Style Needle
Designed for aspiration biopsy, the
two-piece Turner biopsy needle has a trocar pointed stylet to introduce the
needle and sharp 45° beveled cannula minimizing fragmentation. Available in
18,19, 20 and 22 gauge sizes, in 89, 152 and 203mm lengths.
|

|
Spinal
Needle
Du-Kedem offers a high quality
Spinal needle with a short-bevel design that allows exceptional control when
penetrating the dura. Du-Kedem Spinal needles come with a lightweight plastic
hub, which minimizes cannula deflection and associated stylet fallout, as
well as a Quincke-type point, which spreads rather than cuts longitudinal dura
fibers. The Spinal Needle is 89 or 150mm long, and is available in 18, 20,
and 22 gauge sizes.
|

|
Epidural
Needle
Du-Kedem offers Epidural needles in
three styles: Crawford, Touhy and Housted. All Du-Kedem Epidural needles
feature a transparent hub which enables continuous checking of fluid
movement, as well as a bevel orientation indicator which assures that the stylet
and cannula are properly aligned. Du-Kedem's Epidural needles also feature a
thin-wall design, which promises maximum lumen with a minimum of trauma to
the patient. Du-Kedem's advanced bevel grinding technology eliminates the
problem of tissue coring in Epidural procedures. All Epidural Needles are 9
cm long, and are available in 16, 17, 18 and 20 gauge sizes.
|

|
Coaxial
Introducer Needle
Coaxial needles are used to create
a channel by which any other instrument can pass. Most commonly used in
conjunction with biopsy needle so as to obtain multiple histology and
cytology samples. The needles have extra thin wall tubing to create only one
gauge size larger, depth indicators for precision placement and echogenic tip
for better visibility under ultrasound. Available in 13, 15, 17 and 19Ga, and
7, 13 or 17cm.

Bone
Marrow Needles
“I” type
Aspiration Bone Marrow Needles
“I” type (similar to Illinois) needles are intended for Sternal
or Iliac Crest Aspiration. This is two-piece needle with specially designed
comfort handle that provides optimum results with minimum hand pressure and
minimal patient trauma. The special design of the needle handle assures style
alignment and integrated Luer Lock, making it possible for any syringe to be
attached for aspiration.
Available in 15Ga length – 1-5cm or
4.3-10cm, 16Ga, length – 1-5cm, and 18ga length 3.8cm.
|

|
“J” type
Biopsy/Aspiration Bone Marrow Needles
“J” type (similar to Jamshidi) is
intended for Posterior Iliac Crest Biopsy Techniques (Not for Sternal
procedures). The needle is used to obtain a core sample of tissue or bone,
and to perform an aspiration.
For safety and convenience,
DU-KEDEM has introduced the Anti-Stick Probe Guide as a standard feature of
the "J" type Bone Marrow Needle. The purpose of this device is
two-fold: to provide an easier method to align the probe in the needle tip
for sample expulsion and to protect the sharp tip in order to eliminate any
accidental injury during sample expulsion.
The special design of the needle
handle assures style alignment and integrated Luer Lock allowing for any
syringe to be attached for aspiration.
Available in:
8 (Double Diamond), 11 and 13Ga,
length - 10cm and 15cm. In size 13Ga length 6cm as well.
